I got my degree in Economics, with a minor in Accounting, at University of California Irvine. Prior to Lopez Iwata, I spent time working in venture technology and corporate finance in the real estate and media sectors.

I’ve always been very organized and perhaps even OCD (yes, I’ll admit it). I pay close attention to the organization of things, from how I neatly line up food before it’s eaten to how I position furniture in my home. It explains why I totally love process management, financial statement analysis, strategic planning, and succession planning.

I absolutely love what I do because my personality is in my work. In accounting everything is a process that has a purpose, a place, and an order. When things are done correctly, the results are predictable. And I love when I bring all that level of order and focus for our clients, so they are empowered to manage their business really smartly.  

Outside of work, two words for you: Barry’s Bootcamp. The intensity of the workout along with an incredible group of peers gets me out of bed in the morning. If you can sprint 3 miles up a hill at 7 a.m. and not throw up, the rest of the day is going to be a breeze. Oh, and I love my dog Kyle.
