Cristina Lopez
Chief Executive Officer / Founder
I studied Management Economics in Ateneo de Manila, Philippines, and have always had a passion for entrepreneurship. While most students were attending parties in college, I started a small glow stick business, selling to those partygoers.
Prior to starting Lopez-Iwata, I spent years working as a management trainee at one of the biggest conglomerates in the Philippines, as well as a staff accountant for a couple of Fortune 500 companies in the US.
I love helping entrepreneurs grow and sustain their businesses. I take great pride when my clients are successful, whether that’s getting written up in a publication, moving to a new office, or adding teammates.
Working with small businesses, a lot of the time, you are not just involved with the business, but also their personal lives. I have attended my clients’ (and now friends) weddings, baby showers, housewarming parties. I love seeing how their business success translates to their personal lives.
When I’m not talking business (I don’t know if that actually happens), I love traveling and exploring new places. I also really love cooking and am a plant lady. I take care of about 20 plants, I know a lot about plants ... maybe more than I should. My pup Hinto and my fiddleleaf Freddy are my best friends.
